Chair of the Royal Academy Trust, a patron of the arts, and a renowned art collector. She holds other positions on boards, trusts, and advisory councils at cultural and educational institutions, including the Victoria & Albert Museum, Sotheby’s, and the Peres Centre for Peace and Innovation. She also chaired the Education Committee at the Serpentine Gallery and has served as a consultant to the Frieze art fair.

She is also responsible for overseeing the Idan and Batia Ofer Family Foundation, which supports a range of causes related to health, education, and culture that are very close to her heart. This includes the construction of the Sammy Ofer Centre at the London Business School, which supports the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs, as well as the creation of a scholarship programme for Israeli and Palestinian students at the Harvard Kennedy School.

In 2017, she became the Founder and Chair of Art of Wishes and has since raised £12 million and fulfilled more than 4,000 wishes for children living with critical illnesses. Through spectacular events, including a biannual gala, Batia brings together a wide network of artists, collectors, and galleries with the sole aim of granting life-changing wishes.
