Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo

Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo is the president of the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation. After graduating in Economics and Commerce from the University of Turin, she became a collector of contemporary art in the early 1990s.

Her passion for art became an organised activity in 1995 when she established the family foundation. In 1997, the first branch of the Foundation was opened in Guarene (CN), Palazzo Re Rebaudengo. In 2002, the Foundation continued to develop and promote contemporary art, opening a new exhibition space in Turin, an international centre for study, experimentation and confrontation between artists, critics, curators and collectors from all over the world.

The Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Madrid Foundation was created in 2017.

Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo is a member of the International Council of MoMA New York, the International Board of the Tate Gallery London, the Leadership Board of the New Museum New York, the Advisory Committee for Modern and Contemporary Art of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Conseil d’Administration de l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Lyon, the Cities Committee of Art Basel, the CCS Board of Governors of Bard College New York, the Advisory Committee of Rockbund Museum of Art Shanghai.
