Max Hollein
On Thursday, January 21, 2021, as part of the program “A Privileged Window on the World of Art,” Mónica González-Adalid spoke with Max Hollein, director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
Hollein began his career at the Guggenheim Museum in New York and later went on to direct the Städel Museum in Frankfurt and the Fine Arts Museum in San Francisco. He has had an important career as a curator, collaborating with the United States Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale and the Austrian Pavilion at the Art Biennale. He is Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French Ministry of Culture and Medal of Honor of Sciences and Arts of Austria.
